Family Eligibility Requirements

  • Have a child under 18 years of age who is in active cancer treatment
  • Verified Cancer Diagnosis from social worker at the child’s treatment hospital
  • Applicant must be the parent/legal guardian of the child receiving active treatment to obtain financial assistance
  • Provide income and expense verification when requested
  • For assistance approval, bills, statements, and leases must be in the name of the parent/legal guardian and the primary residence of the child in active treatment
  • For assistance approval, bills, statements and leases must be provided and current (expired leases and past statements are not accepted)

Does the type of diagnosis matter?

The diagnosis type does not matter as we are a fully inclusive foundation that is here to support families battling pediatric cancer. The diagnosis must, however, be a form of cancer and the child must currently be below the age of 18.

How long is the application process?

Our application process typically takes 30-60 days from the submission date of your application. We strive to review all applications as quickly as possible because when it comes to battling cancer, time is of the essence.

Do I need to prove my child’s medical diagnosis?

Yes, Parker Project requires a diagnosis verification letter from a doctor or hospital team member where the child is receiving treatment for every family we assist. This ensures the funds raised are distributed to the families who truly need them.

How is project funding distributed?

Once assistance is approved by the board, funds are distributed directly to the company listed on the bill, statement, or lease. We do not issue payments directly to families.
